Today I have this special report of DIRTY DISH’s first anniversary show at Revolver Video Bar in West Hollywood. Dirty Dish, the weekly porn star interview\/meet & greet show held every Wednesday in West Hollywood, just held it’s first anniversary show at Revolver Video Bar. The night featured models from RANDYBLUE.COM<\/a>, giveaways from Fleshjack donated by Brent Corrigan, & an N2N underwear fashion show.<\/p>\n

The club was packed as Randy Blue had taken over the club earlier in the day to film an upcoming scene in the clubs underground restrooms. Randy Blue brought in models Jordan Levine<\/a>, Jay Landford<\/a>, Angel Santiago<\/a>, Roman Todd<\/a>, & Zane Porter<\/a>. Mr. Randy Blue & director\/photographer Jeremy Lucido were also there. Former Randy Blue models Drew Blaze<\/a>, Lucky Daniels<\/a>, and Ash Taylor<\/a> dropped in to say hi. The Randy Blue guys were a huge hit. Judging by the smiles on their faces, they had a lot of fun interacting with the many fans who were there. In addition, quite a few fellow pornstars stopped in during the show to celebrate the Dirty Dish anniversary: Austin Wilde<\/a>, Marcus Mojo<\/a>, Adam Russo<\/a>, Mitch Vaughn<\/a>, Armond Rizzo<\/a>, Lex Sabre, Topher Dimaggio<\/a>, Robby Mendez<\/a>, Mike DeMarko<\/a>, Dante Martin<\/a>, Brent Corrigan<\/a>, & Trenton Ducati’s husband David were all visible in the crowd.<\/p>\n

Randy Blue brought many dvd’s that were given away as prizes for contests held during the show. Brent Corrigan was extremely generous and brought some Fleshjack series modeled after popular Randy Blue models Chris Rockway & Nicco Sky as giveaways.The N2N bodywear fashion show was another big hit of the night. The Randy Blue boys, as well as other models in attendance showed the crowd exactly how the underwear should look on their perfect bodies. I think the hit of the night was Angel Santiago’s ass. It was so spectacular, he kept being asked to show it off.<\/p>\n

Dirty Dish began a year ago, as a spinoff of the long-running Cocktails With the Stars. CWTS had been a weekly fixture in West Hollywood for almost 18 yrs, & had a great reputation with the adult community as a place studios and models could interact with fans and get some great PR. Unfortunately, the bar that had always hosted CWTS was going through some adjustments and cancelled CWTS permanently, on about 8hrs notice-on the day that popular model Benjamin Godfre<\/a> was to appear. I mean, who cancels a show when Benjamin Godfre is coming? Luckily, Revolver Video Bar immediately stepped up and agreed to host the show. Benjamin Godfre showed up, it was a fun night, and DirtyDish was born. Scotty B<\/a>, who hosted CWTS for over 5 years, continues as host of Dirty Dish. Scotty has a great reputation within the porn community as an active supporter, columnist, emcee, host, and interviewer. You’ve likely read some of his columns or seen him hosting red carpets at many of gay porn’s high profile events. He’s excellent as host of the show as he keeps the guests comfortable, while maintaining a fun, active, and entertaining show.<\/p>\n

The last year has seen many porn events at Dirty Dish. Prop 8 was overturned, on the day we hosted Men.com<\/a>. It turned into a huge party with the models pouring shots in customers mouths and dancing on each others shoulders. Christian Owen<\/a> & Jimmy Durano<\/a> announced their marriage on the show. It was the only public appearance in the very popular, but short lived career of Slate Steele<\/a>. Brent Corrigan<\/a> announced his return to porn at the show, and Connor Kline<\/a> announced his retirement to guests at the show. Randy Blue hosted their 10th anniversary party at DirtyDish. Dominic Ford<\/a> announced Landon Conrad<\/a> as winner of this years So You Think You Can Fuck during the show. Dirty Dish has also tried to give back by hosting charity functions. Back to school supplies for kids, canned food at Thanksgiving, and shoes and toys at Christmas. In addition, we began something this year that is unique to DirtyDish & Revolver Video Bar, our Revolving Door Pornstar Photo Series. Each week, the guests are asked to pose in our Revolving Door. To date, we have over 100 photos in the series.<\/p>\n

What was once a popular feature in many larger gay cities, DirtyDish may very well be the only show of it’s kind left in the US. It’s a happy hour show held every Wednesday from 7pm-9:30pm. It’s an informal, laid-back, & relaxed show where performers can meet their fans, play fun games, take pictures, sign autographs, &? share a drink. Unlike the online interviews & porn blogs where viewers often leave nasty comments, I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone be nasty or rude to one of the guest stars. The guests are always treated with respect. LA and West Hollywood have always been a big part of gay porn, dating back to the 80’s. However, as more and more production leaves LA, it’s harder to book a weekly porn show. It may not be filmed as often in LA, but sooner or later everyone comes to LA.
