We were leaving the comfort of the state of the art studio in cold rainy London for the hot and sunny countryside around my adopted home city of Madrid. Men at Play used a new director, Raul Marcos, and a totally different crew. They were all amazing to work with. Raul knew exactly what he wanted but was flexible as the shoot went on. Shooting outside under the hot sun with insects and dust and rocks and sticks can be a challenge and everyone has to be a little more patient as the right lighting and positions are searched for. Despite those challenges, taking this scene outside was well worth it. <\/p>\n

There are some typical Men at Play<\/a> elements to this scene. Visually, I start out smartly dressed in business attire and Sergi in a perfectly fitting uniform of the Spanish Civil Guard. Men at Play scenes often have obvious or muted elements of power and powerlessness or dominance and submission and this scene is no exception. Sergi, in his uniform, with his tight and toned body, and perfect brown skin towers over me. He is a big, hot, masculine, hunk of Catalan man.
