Last month I blogged about Jasun Mark’s first-ever Titan Men movie called NIGHTFALL<\/a>. The movie comes out November 27th on TITANMEN.COM<\/a>. Nightfall stars Dario Beck, Jessy Ares, Scott Hunter, Alessio Romero, Jecht Parker and Thomas.<\/p>\n

The theme of the movie is men no longer able to resist their instincts and going out into the night to find what they want. A lot of guys have their first sexual experience by meeting a stranger on the internet or a bathhouse, now GPS Hookup Apps. So I used those three ideas as the basis for the individual scenes. The movie is set in Los Angeles and I tried to make the city itself look like what I imagine the flame looks like to the moth. Bright and fascinating and irresistible, but dangerous. Light literally exploding out of the dark.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Jasun also gave me some detail about the Original Score of Nightfall<\/a> which he created all new music in this movie himself!<\/p>\n

I don’t talk about it much, but as the son of two classical musicians, I grew up immersed in music, so I wrote the score myself. I wanted it to be totally original music that matched the tone and feel of each scene. So the scene that takes place in a sex club sounds small and muted but fills the space. Just like walking about the halls in the sex club, there’s odd noises that startle and make you wonder what they are. It has the same timbre as a floor cleaner and clanging pipes. Under all of that is a rhythm track that sounds like a big muscle man bottoming and grunting.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The scene that takes place in an empty warehouse is very open and sparse but wrapped in a wall of reverb. I played a piano solo through the whole thing but then put it on a 100% mix stadium reverb… so all you hear is the reverberation of the piano and none of the piano itself. Gives you the impression that someone is playing it very far away and mirrors the kind of sounds you’d hear in the room the action is taking place in.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The scene outside in the park downtown has a very nervous sound to it. A mechanical feel that fits two guys picking each other up with a few text messages over a GPS hookup app.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
