Please introduce yourself. How old are you? Where you are from? Where do you live now? What is your day job?
Hi! I’m Derek Bolt. I’m 24 years old. I’m from all over the place lately, but I grew up in New England. I currently live in a small town in South Florida. I’m an intern architect, working towards my full license.

What’s the story behind your porn name Derek Bolt?
Derek comes from one of my guilty pleasure TV shows: Teen Wolf. Derek Hale is kind of a badass, but inside he’s a big softie. And he has an awesome leather jacket, just like me.

I let Michael Youens, the other half of Ducati models, suggest last names for me, and Bolt just kinda felt right to me. I have to say, those Sean Cody models have it easy – they just need one name.

You have amazing body! Please tell us about your workout routine.
I hit the gym six days a week. I do a mix of powerlifting and bodybuilding, some light cardio, and some stretching or yoga every workout. Some days I’m in the gym for three hours! On Sundays I rest and try and get a short bike ride in when the weather is nice (pretty much always in South Florida).

I’ve been lifting since I was 16, and before that I spent 6 years earning my back belt in Tae-Kwon-Do, so I’m just really used to being active. Other than that I love to bike, swim, rock climb, and do yoga. I even played on my high school lacrosse team for two years (the one team sport I’ve done).

How often you get a compliment about your butt? Any workout tips to get ass like that?
It’s definitely one of the areas that gets a lot of attention. I’ve always had a really strong lower body thanks to Tae-Kwon-Do, and it just got better when I started lifting. As for tips, lots of squats and deadlifts. I work legs twice a week, once for power, once for volume, just like the other muscle groups. So Wednesday it’s a 3×5 squat for 495, some calf raises and leg press, a superset of leg extensions and curls, and then deadlifts 3×3 for 520. Saturday I just focus on getting my legs super fatigued with a lot of weights and reps (4x12x375 squats, etc.)

My general workout advice to any beginner to intermediate lifter is to check out Stronglifts 5×5. It’s the program that really got me strong and gave me a solid base of muscle. I started it at around age 20, and have used some variation of it ever since.

You like yoga?
I love it. My fiancé got me into it in college, and it’s been amazing for me since. The physical aspect helps to prevent injuries from working out, and the meditative aspect keeps me happy, well balanced, and introspective.

Why did you decide to do porn?
I’d always been interested in modeling of some form, and making all of my working out pay off. I’m not really shy at all, so it was an easy choice. I guess if I had to break it down, it’s half for the money, and half for the fun and fame.

How did you get into the porn industry?
I just applied online to Ducati models (I have Sebastian Kross to thank for that – I read an interview where he said they were his agent). I sent some selfies, they said back that they were interested, and then a little while later they contacted me about my first scene for Falcon Studios. I had suggested doing a scene with Sebastian to start, since he’s such a big star (and super hot!) And the rest, as they say, is a matter of public record LOL.

What’s your experience working with Falcon Studios?
Falcon Studios is great. Everyone was so dedicated to making each scene the best it could be, but at the same time, there was very little pressure. Even though I was the new guy on set, everyone was really welcoming and explained the whole process to me. And of course it was a lot of fun to wander around on set naked the whole day.

It was also really cool at the second shoot, in Joshua Tree, the whole group of us had a family dinner, which really made me feel like a part of the group.

What do you think about your scene partner Gabriel Cross?
He’s amazing. To start, he’s super hot, and I very very much enjoyed filming with him. But he’s also just a really great guy, so I felt a really strong connection with him. He’s really kind, he’s incredibly determined, and he’s also really smart and creative. And those are all things that I find extremely attractive.

Any funny or memorable stories that happened during your porn shoot?
My second shoot was really got my inner geek going. The house we were shooting had a lot of really cool mid century modern furniture and architecture books, so I was geeking out. The intro of the scene actually has me reading one of the books when Gabe came in. And then I got to fuck on top of an Eames Lounger. Makes me laugh a bit internally every time I see one at work.

I almost dropped Gabriel a few times filming the standing position, because my hands were so covered in lube that they kept slipping off his back.

I’d say I’m 60% bottom, 40% top. But it does vary depending on who I’m with.

I’m engaged to a wonderful fiancé. We met in college, became amazing friends, and then he was the guy that finally got me to admit to myself that I’m gay. And ever since I let myself accept that, I’ve been in love with him.

I don’t really have type per say. I’d say generally fit, usually muscular, and almost always a cute face. I also tend to be drawn to personality. I try to cook at least one new recipe a week, and I make breakfast for the office every payday.

I love to travel and explore the world. Exploring new cities, seeing new architecture and geography, meeting new people. I love to hike and camp. And I really love doing these types of things with my fiancé.
