Appearances are deceiving. I had the impression all along that Jarec Wentworth was an all-American boy. He had everything going for him, looks, impeccable manners, laughter. How can anyone turn into a monster like this? What’s interesting is that on this site there’s no reported news of this incident with Jarec Wentworth, but lots of reported news about his videos. All of the information had to come from the fans of this site. It is as if one world – the porn world – does not connect to the real world. Geezus Krist. So much misinformation about this case is being bandied about, thanks to that fool at SGUP and all the other blogs that simply repeat his incorrect information and idiotic speculations as though they were gospel truth.
1. The extortion victim was not an escort client of Jarec’s.
2. From late 2013 to early 2015, the victim had an arrangement with Jarec in which he paid Jarec referrals fees of $1200 to $2000 to get him the young men he wanted to attend social events with him.
3. For more than a year, the victim had allowed Jarec to use his Audi R8.
4. The victim gave Jarec a gift of a $30K watch.
5. Sometime in Feb. 2015 one of the referrals failed to show up, and the victim wanted Jarec to return the referral fee. It was around that time that the blackmail began.
6. Jarec wasn’t demanding $500K more. He was demanding $1M more. Plus title to the Audi.
7. Jarec has been living in the US since he was 2 years old. No one gave Jarec a green card, you fool. His parents became naturalized US citizens before he was 18, which then automatically made him a naturalized US citizen.
8. His 3 youngest siblings were born in the US, not Romania.
9. You’re an idiot and a bigot.

Since the start of his Men deal, I’ve tried to catch everything Wentworth did, and when I learned (late) that he was at Cody first, I tried to check all that out too. They fool us because they’re good looking and provide fantasy fodder, but since we don’t even know their real names unless they get into trouble, our own incaution shares some of the blame when we get carried away. The fact that the greater majority walk away from this work, back to whatever real identities they put on hold, and don’t want the fame to follow them is another consistent signpost that we really don’t who we’re watching.

Jaybird I don’t necessarily disagree with what you just said, but I’ll take my chances with Zach since he does a very thorough job for the most part in his investigating. Even if he got some of the details wrong, the very core points of what he wrote about when he first released this story are there.
And the reason why you don’t see a full-fledged story about it on here is because the editor at QMN prefers to focus more on the actual porn rather than the drama behind it. That’s fine by me as I can go back and forth here and at Str8UpGayPorn. He does sometimes write a line about a subject and offers a link on further reading when he does a Gay Porn News post.
Besides, QMN is kind to us in not editing out most of our comments when we are discussing things he doesn’t write topics about, provided we are making some valid statements and not just being ugly for no reason. So there is at least that.
