Perhaps “hypocrite” is too fast a judgement here or even just out of context. Aside from Killian here who apparently went bareback before turning against his stance, some perforformers probably felt it is a lot safer (to whatever extent, acurate or not) to go bb with the practices studios undertake in today’s technology compared to back then. But whatever it is, who the heck cares about killian anyway?

Yes queens people are allowed to change their minds, but what gets you ridiculed for changing your mind is when you take any and every chance you can to denounce bareback porn or even chastise those who make the switch AND after all that you decide to be a hypocrite and go do bareback yourself lol.
There are a good number of studios who get ridiculed for their switch because of how vocally anti-barebacking they were that they even prevented some pornstars and other studios from getting exposure for participating in it.

The general anti-barebacking atmosphere before is completely justified though. You can’t blame the studios and performers for taking a categorical ‘no’ on the matter when there’s a clear and present risk for the performers. It’s applaudable even. If they happen to change views and practices, well, that’s just a reflection of how effective and convincing testing and all that are now than they were back then. Still, nothing worth “ridiculing” over. It’s understandable for Kllian since according to him he’d done it way back at ’07 but I find it funny that a lot seem to extend the “hypocrite” tag to everyone else. ???
