As a coach, I worry about my guys. I want what is best for them. I want to see them excel and take some of the principles they are learning on the field and apply them to their lived experiences. I was staying late drafting the season’s line-up, but my mind was not focused. All practice long, I could see that our newest player, Lane, was struggling. At the plate, he missed the balls thrown at him. He didn’t appear comfortable catching, and it seemed like he was having a hard time integrating into the team. I know he has top talent. I could almost feel it in my gut but how can I support him over whatever hump is holding him back?

Pastor Cali calls together a gathering of the church elders and the young men of the private enclave. He wants to encourage the men in the current growth of the congregation, including the three newly anointed boys, building it larger with more boys to be added to this holy harem once chosen. Once together, Pastor Cali realized that all six were in attendance including Pastor Cali, Deacon Johnsyn, Deacon Reign, Adam Kylan, Dominic Young, and Israel Angel, making him happy when the clothes were removed. Since the pastor and the deacons had already been indoctrinating the young men to be servants to the elders, giving their bodies as their holy service, Pastor Cali reaffirmed that his vision was coming true that the church was indeed growing, looking forward to the future.

I was going to public high school before I came to St. Peter’s Catholic school. I was having problems being bullied in my other school. Thank goodness, nobody told my parents that I had brought it on myself. I tried not to look at the other guys in the showers. I just couldn’t help it. After some of the guys figured out what was going on, they got paranoid and started accusing me even when I really wasn’t looking.

It was our duty as the senior members of The Order to uphold its traditions and honor its legacy. Everyone is taught the same rules upon entry. Which made it all the more peculiar that an apprentice like Fox would be the one to go out of bounds and land himself disciplinary action. I had crossed paths with him before and he seemed to me like the type of boy who was smart enough to avoid any unnecessary negative attention… but then again, the old saying goes ‘you have to know the rules in order to break them’ and something told me that this might just be one of those very circumstances.
