So the theme of TTB is pretty much pitched right at me. I’m damn near trailer trash myself and always had a thing for a lot of the guys in the trailer parks, just like I get off on sex with other truckers, mechanics, blue collar men generally. That kind of masculinity is like catnip to me. Add in a few references to men who fuck with their family (cousins, uncles, dad, sons) and it’s like they picked my brain.
Here’s my beef: look at real life truckers or mechanics or guys in the trailer park. They don’t pay a quarter of the attention to their looks as all these porn stars do. Few of them lift, at least not to the same degree. Their hair is more likely done with clippers at home instead of perfectly coiffed. Hell, even their tattoos won’t be as artistic and technically perfect. Many if not most gay men, especially porn stars, are just going to pay a lot more attention to their level of physical attractiveness. That’s not to say that real rednecks can’t clean up really well; they can and do. But around their homes and often at work too, they got no-one to impress, so they go with comfort and convenience, which often shows up as a certain unstudied slovenliness (which I think can be super hot as well).
There are damn few porn companies that have the balls to hire models who aren’t models of physical perfection, but who also accurately reflect the theme of the studio (As an example of one that does and that occupies a similar niche, check out Workin’ Men). That studio has a different set of problems, but they’re at least faithful to the theme of porn they produce.
Basically, I wish the models weren’t so god damn fucking perfect and pretty. Because one thing’s for sure: no matter how hot they are, real trailer trash boys definitely ain’t perfect and they ain’t pretty neither.
