And some STDs can have NO symptoms in some people and get passed on. And just because we have treatments available doesn’t mean we always will, or that they always work. Wow. Let me be the first to pop that bubble and send everyone hurling back to reality: both of those options will ALWAYS be viable.
A gay adult star switching to filming bareback scenes is nothing new anymore and there certainly was no reason for Rogan to attempt to justify it. In doing so, he gave some pretty bad advice. I don’t watch porn for the purposes of education but there are people out there that take the words of performers like this to heart, and it has the potential to land someone who maybe doesn’t know any better in a very bad place. I’m a fan of Rogan and have been for a long time…but I whole-heartedly disagree with his argument here. If he wants to make bareback scenes from now on, I say great. I’ll watch all of them and probably like them all. But it isn’t fair to make it sound as if it was the only option he was left with and then present a foundation of flawed facts as a basis for that argument. Maintaining sexual health is no joke and prevention/treatment aren’t as advanced as some would have you believe. In this case, Rogan could use some more education on the subject, himself.

Rogan’s claims are ridiculous. I know 100% I have had sex with 3 poz guys and probably way more, ALL of them lied about their statuses, including the one that intentionally ripped the condom so I had to go to ER to get Post exposition prophylaxis even though he was hellbent that he was “clean” and neg. Only when cornered a few years later he admitted that he lied and said ” too bad you’re not poz” because he wanted me to creampie him on a regular basis. Don’t expect people to be honest with you and accept that barebacking is a reckless behavior adopted by people who are generally addicted to hard drugs, can have several partners a day and are very selfish.
So unless you’re going to do the test with the guy or he’s showing you one that’s less than 2 weeks old I’d say this is very unreliable.
On a lighter note, loved the Chip Tanner video, he’s very skilled!

I like Rogan. He is out there and up front. Sure he isn’t the brightest spark but that is not what we are attracted to him for. He was just being candid.
