Peter–I’m not being sarcastic. I’m honestly trying to understand. You say you don’t watch DVDs anymore because there’s too many guys with tattoos. So, why do you spend so much time HERE when you KNOW that most posts will include somebody with tats? It almost seems that you mostly just want to write so as many people as possible can be told as many times as possible that you don’t like them. It’d be like if I spent my time on pro wrestling blogs complaining that in a hour show on TV I feel lucky that there’s one match worth watching (true!). Instead I go to YouTube where I can control exactly what I watch and how I watch it (skip the boring talk, mute annoying commentators, etc.). It’s been so liberating! And I’m not wasting time feeling frustrated. I still daydream sometimes about being the Universal Commissioner of All Pro Wrestling where I set all the rules and standards for the enterprise everywhere in the world (for the better, of course :)), but now it’s just a game not a channel for my disgust. Why don’t you just avoid the aggravation of looking at the annoying tattoos you’re likely to encounter on this site?

Blah blah blah…. Beat dead horses….tattoos are just overdone (like pain?)…..Pierre Fitch looks like he has a skin disease on his arm he’s had so many tattoos on top of tattoos. Best tattoo of the decade is on the back of HOT gymnast Epke Zonderland. Check him out, get hard.

Jason–I did a Google image search and found just one of Epke’s back tattoo. It’s okay. Typical of many others. Why do you think it’s so exceptional? As I’ve written elsewhere tattoos are attractive or not depending on things like number, size, position, color, design and overall composition, and the bearer’s body type. I can’t generalize either positive or negative like some. And I don’t expect everyone to agree with my evaluation of any particular tattooed guy. Epke is attractive and if I wouldn’t say his particularly embellishes or detracts from him, well, that’s just me

I grew up with a prejudice against tattoos. They’re certainly not something the men of my family, even those who served in the military, of my generation or my father’s did or would approve of. And most of the men who got them then were either in the armed forces or the merchant marine. The subject matter was limited and almost painfully clicheed. Color, especially the blue used in excess to outline, was dreary. It wasn’t until about a decade ago that colors got brighter and designs of wider content and became more innovative, particularly the tribals, that I began to lose that prejudice. Unfortunately, tribals have become almost as stereotypical as the older
designs were. There’s too much text and less art. And the content is too much about what is ephemeral. I find restraint in number and the area of
coverage more attractive. And all sorts of content is thrown together without any sense of coherence.

Made a mistake. Accidental submission. Just a bit more. If I were to get a tattoo, I’d limit my design or textual content to those things of lasting significance to me. In my case, probably things related to Tolkien or my family’s history. Tattoos can be an embarrassment without thoughtful consideration and mistakes painful to remove or alter. I have to admit that in a few cases I’ve actually pursued images of some guys because I found their tattoos a turn-on. In others, I’ve been unable to enjoy a guy’s performance because of his excesses. In most instances I’m neutral or just indifferent. That’s all I’ll ever have to say on this topic, as I’m sure you’re glad to know!

Do not get me wrong one or two tats are fine but when a hot gay porn star covers every part of his body it becomes distracting. Then I am watching the tats and not the scene. One of my favorites parker london has tats but they are relegate to just one area of his arm. Parker’s body is still being showed off including that ass which is beautiful. But, I guess at least 80 percent of the gay porn industry has more than one tattoo. It is strange that in the 90’s you hardly ever saw them on any of the gay porn stars.
