I just saw this sad news reported on Men of Porn. Former Sean Cody gay porn star Jamie has passed away at the age of 35. He’s among the most popular gay porn stars at Sean Cody between 2009-2012. A screenshot of his mother’s obituary was posted on LPSG forum. There’s no detail about his passing. The website also mentioned the news back in February when he had a warrant related to multiple breaks-ins following Hurricane Helene in North Carolina. This is a devastating news. My condolences to his family and friends.

yikes! I went over to MOP for the first time in a long time. Never again! A heinous toxic brew over there. This place is rather benign compared to that bunch. Anyway, it is always sad when we hear about another young man leaving this world. RIP

I’m also very concerned that over the last five years or so, a lot of former porn models has died. In some cases suicide and in some cases overdose.
It’s of course impossible to know if this has to do with their porn past or not.
But a obvious problem is of course that some chose to do porn when they are very young, and later regret it. But that those feelings of regret would lead to severe mental health problems, seems not so likely.

I read an article 20-25 years ago about the more succesful czech Gay porn models. Most of them were 18-23 yo. Many of them were athletes -swimmers, gymnasts, wrestlers and cayakers. Most of them with amazing bodies.
Some of them bought expensive cars for their very high porn salary. Some travelled but some started buying drugs.
They were very young -probably not very mature. And they had suddenly in their life a lot of money. Some got addicted and it became a real struggle in their lives.
I wish that all Gay porn companies should have a very hard Anti-drug policy. So that these young (immature) guys, dont get into drug addiction.
