After suffering multiple seizures gay porn star Jordan Jaric (Jason Hanan) had a very lengthy and complex operation on April 20, 2011 to remove a tumor from his brain. Jordan is now faced with extraordinary costs related to the surgery, medications and follow-up visits as well as the lengthy recovery period of at least 6 months during which he is unable to work.

Eheh,nope,I’m Italian,but I live in the UK.I’m not saying that Europe is perfect or that it has the same policy when it comes to healtcare but nearly all the nations of europe provide affordable healtcare and good quality.They certainly won’t ask you half a million dollars for a life saving surgery!

Bengo, they dont have universal health care in the US as we do here in Australia. Everyone in the US has to either get insurance or pay the full costs of surgery. This is why the Australian system is so good and why there is so much opposition to it in the US on the part of drug & medical insurance companies who would stand to lose millions.

I have known many hopsitals in Italy since my father is a neurosurgeon, and many in the UK where I went to school-most appalling-and many here in California where I live. The British helath care system is bankrupt, which you would know from even a quick perusal of the newspapers. Perhaps if you were as “civilized” as you claim to be, the only response you would have to another human being’s suffering would be: oh, how sad. May you get better soon. But sadly, for you, that never seems to have crossed your mind. I came to L.A. from Rome to study at Georgetown and then UCLA and work in the film industry; I am curious what brought you to the UK. By your grammar and syntax I doubt you are Italian. @filligree,I, too, am skeptical of this story. It has run now for months, and the picture with the sign and his out-stretched hands cause me to doubt the veracity of this story.

@Ben: Truer words were never spoken. The medical bills even for some of the most routine procedures are downright ridiculous here in the US. Sad part is, the President tried to turn things around with healthcare and the big corporations and insurance companies cried bloody murder. At the end of the day, it’s all about greed versus health and well-being.

Mike – You know what? I bet employers are just lining up to hire people who have just been hospitalized for 3 major surgeries and the subsequent rehabilitation, who also have their credit ratings obliterated by bankruptcy.
I donated, and even if the money goes to his day-to-day expenses, and not medical bills proper, I am happy to have helped because our system is fucked.

Maybe a couple of years ago he should have been spending money on health insurance instead of plastic surgery. Owing money and being in debt is a part of life. It sucks, yeah, but we all have to do it. Why does he get special treatment? I bet if one of his fans asked him to donate money for their surgery he wouldn’t donate a dime. @Yes, filligree, I know all too well. i had this exact type of surgery, thankfully at New York Hopsital in Manhattan, back in 2005. I was just offended by “scotch’s” ignorant and inaccuarte remarks. “Civilzied” people do not feel the need to immediately declare anonymously on a porn blog how “civilzed” they are. They simply wish the patient well and shut the fuck up. I admire what the Western Europe safety net attempted to do, which it was ablt to do since the US under the Marshall Plan rebuilt Europe and never was repiad by any country with the exception of Germany; and then the US came forth to guarnatee European security which meant the European nations did not have to pay the high costs of their own military defense. Unfortunately they ignored the fact that no ne gets anything for nothing in the long run and now that enormous debt must be repaid. The debt may be passed to a future generation but will eventually have to be paid. Today, sadly,. the European welfare state is broke. A quick perusal of any European newspaper, which you can find on line, will reveal this.

This guys begging has gotten to the vomit worthy stage. Every tweet, blog, or facbook post includes daily begging. I’ve never seen anything like it. He’s not going to ever be homeless nor is any medical care going to be abruptly stopped if he doesn’t have all that money right this second. Parents that I’ve known who have small children facing life threatening surgeries don’t even pull this routine. I’ve ran across many homeless with more class then what he’s displaying in his begging routine.
I hope people are made aware that much of the donations are going not just for medical care but for his preferred living conditions. Thats right. You will be paying his rent, car insurance, gas, food and daily expenses as he so desires. This guy has no monitor on cutting back. It goes right in his pocket and spent the way he wants to spend it. I’ve sent him several messages telling him Stop begging for someone to carry you in everything. If you’ve got no shame in what you are pulling get down to welfare and get your card and some free money. He knows it would be much less then what he’s looking to pocket with this woe is me, help the pretty porn homo out routine. He needs to start every begging post out with… DEAR SUCKER!!
Add this one up…For some strange reason his family hasn’t packed him up and moved him into their homes to cut some of his daily costs. Hmmm why is that? Because precious doesn’t want that. He and his family should be ashamed of themselves for what they are pulling. There are too many programs and charities already set in motion to take care of some of the medical costs but they all know looking at everything on the table he probably wouldn’t fully qualify since the family would be asked what they could bring to the table. They need to reach within themselves as well to cover as much as possible. I’ve known families dealing with stuff like this who sale homes, cash bonds, rent cheap homes and apartments together and pull all their monies together to make it all work. Thats what blood is suppose to do. Not go on some immediate begging jag daily. He needs to learn how to sacrafice a portion of his own extravagances as well.
In no way do I think he deserves this medical challenge but now that it’s been handed to him it’s finally time for this one to grow up. I’ve known Jason for quite some time and after all the garbage he’s pulled on others he’s got one hell of a nerve asking for any type of help.
If you really feel a need to help someone out do a lot of research. Be sure you really know who you are helping very well. The best thing you could do for this begger is to say no and force him and his family to carry this alone. He may end up learning what is most important in life compared to what is least important and how to conduct himself with other people in the future. He’s going to be just fine as he is. He just needs to stop begging others and sacrafice all on his own.
