Und, I hear what you’re saying. Try not to take it all too seriously which can be a challenge when the business of porn is to seduce the dollars out of our pockets. The label ‘porn star’ gets tossed around so arbitrarily now it really doesn’t have the impact or meaning it used to. Not when men like Jeff Stryker or Ken Ryker were shooting scenes. You had to earn that title back then.

We live in the age of marketing, self-promotion; none of these guys are “stars,” why do we even use that term? I agree with und. This is all marketing, an attempt to hype a product. This Steven Daigle guy isn’even hot. I guess even in this world wide hideous economy, the real hot men still are adverse to doing porn, dammit. I see hotter men at the gym or on the streets everyday.

I too agree with B. Massari, and all the comments listed above. The guys these days are not worthy of “star” status and I too see way better looking guys on the street and at the gym than what I see on screen. Nobody takes the words ‘porn star’ seriously anymore. It’s not even a marketing thing. If you do porn, most media outlet are going to refer to you as a porn star. From the cover you think that Steven is very hot, but its just photoshopped so much if you look at the on set photos. Looks like 2 different people and looks nothing special.
I think its all a marketing ploy by C1R, get someone semi famous, get them to do porn! Imagine the publicity and the money from the sales! My guess he wont last that long!
