Yes, I do all kinds of events: right now we are collecting canned goods. In December we will do a toy drive and Christian Owen will come down and do a Shoe Drive. I know the guy who runs DirtyDish & before that it was Cocktails with the Stars, along with a lot of the guys who frequent the show. They do a lot of special events: canned food drives, toy and shoe collections for kids at Christmas, school supply drives. Knowing them, it will not be a cheap nasty porn filled event, it will be a very nice event for Marcus-who is about as laidback, friendly, & decent as you’ll meet. He’s a frequent guest at their shows, and he has a lot of friends in town. Knowing, the guys there, they will make it a special night for him…a baby shower for dad.

i’ve actually met the guy a few times. i’ve had a few small chats with him, and I’ve seen him being pawed at by groups of zealous fans. Never seen him be anything but the most polite and respectful person to every gay man who has wanted a moment of his time, a picture or whatever. I mean they are going out and celebrating something that yes is great, but you’re celebrating it at a facility whose clientele is made up mostly of people who cannot legally get married and do not legally receive the same benefits as a married couple in most states. Yes we can get married thankfully in more and more states as the years goes by, but if we wanted to go and have a baby we have to go through the extra miles to get one. We can’t simply biologically impregnate our partner, and also there is tons more legal documentation that we go through in order to keep those babies whether we do adoption or have a surrogate. I can tell you that ScottyB is a wonderful guy that works hard to produced and promote a safe and fun way to celebrate the gay adult industry and its many fans. The idea to have a baby shower for Marcus Mojo is a great idea. The gay community is about inclusion. LGBT and straight deserve the same respect.
