PLAYGIRL magazine just released its new ‘Big Dick Energy’ issue for April 2026. On the cover is a mystery musclebound male model. You can check out all the sexy photo set here. Well, the hunky stud on the cover is no other than gay porn star Cade Maddox.
“For this BDE-themed issue,” explains a PLAYGIRL rep, “we wanted our cover model to be every man, not a man in particular.”

Agree. Body wise he looks GREAT and the cock is impressive as ever but facial wise he has certainly lost his appeal, very rough and ragged in the appearance. I had no idea Playgirl was still published. Playgirl started appealing to gay men–rather than the implied female audience–sometime in early 2000’s. They are still headlong appealing to the gay man audience given then “Big Dick Energy” marketing.
Playgirl originally focused on naked men, but tried to establish an emotional connection to their female audience with their photo spreads. The nudity is secondary. They had entire fake bios made up for their male models.
