I believe that most of the sites that mensparkle mentioned are BB studios and i believe that automatically means that they are not up for nomination. I’m not a fan of the studios or the models that won either. And the stuff that Falcon produces these days doesn’t compare to their stuff from the 90s.

The studios that mensparkle mentioned are mostly BB and i believe that excludes them from being nominated which is ridiculous since the majority of studios these days produce BB porn. And most of the awards went to Falcon/HH/RGS which is one big company. Btw the stuff that Falcon produces these days isn’r nearly as hot as their stuff from the 90s.

No, Bareback is not the reason why those studios were not nominees. I just checked 2013 and 2014 grabby nominees/winners. Belami, Lucas and KB were in the nominees list.
Like you said, several studios that dominte grabby actually belong to one company NDS/Gammae.

Actually barebacking DOES have a lot to do with the nominations list. While those studios have produced barebacking content, even simultaneously with condom content, the scenes nominated are not barebacking scenes, and so long as the majority of what they have produced the past year is condom material, they are eligible. Although the biggest snub is RandyBlue, who have only started releasing barebacking material in late February/early March, and they still release some condom material.
And pornstars working in bareacking porn are eligible so long as they still produce a hearty amount of condom material. Both Rocco and Armond continue to work in both industries, and Trenton ran back to condom porn because of the whole barebacking scandal from duckface studios.
But you’re right the majority of the winners belong to major companies, companies that contribute in making awards like The Grabbys happen. That’s why you see certain studios left out, and ridiculous choices for winners.

As far as the awards go, they’re a joke and clearly cockyboys and Raging Falcon House won more because they spent more money on hosting these awards. I agree with only a handful of these, one of those for Jesse Jackman winning for Manly Man. There were only about 4 from that list that were deserving of the win so glad he won it.

To be fair to Cockyboys, Answered Prayers was a well-produced series. I mean it reminds me of the times when porn movies with lots of story and dialogue like Buckleroos and To The Last Man were produced. And don’t forget about duckface’s La Dolce Vita. You just don’t see porn produced cinematically anymore because studios are always trying to cut production costs as much as they can.
I think the more ridiculous choice of winners came from Falcon Raging House’s side.
