These past couple of days, Sean Cody has teased fans on Twitter with tweets like this: “One of our all-time most popular model is finally back. Guess who it is?” Then they dropped a clue: “A little clue on who is back: he’s been away for more than 2 years.” This is AMAZING news and it gets me excited. All we have to do is wait until Halloween to find out.
But who is this popular Sean Cody model who’s coming back? Let’s the guessing game begin. In the member area, they listed 21 guys as their “most popular models” – Brandon, Stu, Jess, Abe, Tanner, David, Calvin, Jarek, Noel, Daniel, Curtis, Brodie, Aidan, Pavel, Ethan, Jamie, Brooks, Landon, Randy, Peter, and Sean. Of all these 21 models, only 5 of them didn’t have any scene released since October 2013. So I think we can narrow the list down to Abe, Calvin, Ethan, Jamie, and Pavel. (I didn’t count Jarek who is now Jarec Wentworth and Aidan who’s working under the name Tryp Bates.)

Sean Cody desperately needs to reinvigorate its brand and hopefully, this new scene will be a start in the right direction. When Sean Cody was sold, many on this site feared that the quality of scenes would “go down hill.” Well disappointingly, that’s exactly what’s happened. The site now features a continuous loop of “used up” bottoms who have been featured a thousand times. The only reason that I continue to check out Sean Cody, is because I purchased a 1-year membership for $120.00.
Unless Sean Cody provides more variety, when my membership is up next year, I’m done.
Now if you really want to see some hot porn, check out Active Duty. Active Duty was also very much like Sean Cody used to be, as it featured some of the hottest guys in gay porn. Guys like Axl, Kaden, Thomas, Jake, Tanner, Bric, Nick Gunner and many more. And guess what, virtually all of Active Duty’s actors were versatile. The end result is that Active Duty has “turned the corner” and saved its brand. Hopefully Sean Cody can learn a thing or two from Active Duty and save its brand too before it’s too late.
