Well, it’s pretty long, ins’t it? Actually Michael Lucas is slightly incorrect, the news piece was aired on one of the three big israeli national news programs, doubtly it’s in the first place (top 3, again), but the station it was aired on is the only one who is a GOVERMENT channel (meaning goverment funded, manged etc).
You can cut the story into about 3 different pieces –
1. Michael Lucas – History and coming to film in Israel
2. Jonatha Aggasi – Childhood, coming out, deep (brave? ) relationship with his mother and the need for her acceptance for doing porn, and the responses he’s getting.
3. Gay porn and the gay community in Israel – Acceptance, part of it, and if Michael Lucas managed to make any kind of different (the professors, both gay i believe, claim that it’s just another porn and any help that can be derived from that is pure ego, Michael Lucas finishes the article claiming Men of Israel is the most sold movie ever, trying to contradict them).
