I can’t speak for Bogota but Madrid is definitely one of, if not, the most friendly gay city in the world. It is definitely the most gay friendly in all of Europe. I was in Madrid during the pride parade last year, and wow it is huge! They say over 1 million people attend and judging by the crowd it has to be true. Gays from all over Europe flew to the pride festivities. I heard all sorts of languages being spoken. The locals love it too. There were a lot of straight families and couples there.
Sadly I did not go to the rest of the festivities because I was still a bit sick. Worst time to get sick on a trip 🙁 Oh also saw Spencer Reed at the Madrid airport when I was leaving to come back home. Did not go up to him and talk to him though.
As far as how many of those guys smoke, I am guessing that all the Spanish men are smokers. Europeans, especially Spaniards, smoke a lot. All of Madrid smelled like second-hand smoke. The smell was probably heightened from my sickness though.
Looks like a great movie, but I am still waiting to see the scene between Lucio Saints and Tomy Hawk. Tomy is a fucking gorgeous man and there needs to be more attention focused on him! Let’s hope that his barebacking at Dark Alley does not prevent him from getting more work I love that guy 🙂
